At some point today the dtd was updated and is now invalid:
when run through xmllint---
Our applications are unable to start up with this dtd. Any advice would be appreciated.
Stacktrace to follow.
Same issue. Fixed it by switching from http://hibernate.org/dtd/hibernate-mapping-3.0.dtd to http://hibernate.sourceforge.net/hibernate-mapping-3.0.dtd
So we have an older application that’s already pointing at the sourceforge location. That location no longer exists, and gives a 301 with a new location at www.hibernate.org/dtd
From what I understand, the SAXParser understands that and follows the 301 to the new location. We’ve tried routing directly to hibernate.org/dtd instead and are still seeing this issue.
As noted over on the similar website issue ( ) I suspect some kind of dtd caching of a bad file from yesterday. As I noted, changing the link from www.hibernate.org to the sourceforge link fixed it last night, and www.hibernate.org still doesn’t work today, however, I removed the www and used http://hibernate.org/dtd/hibernate-mapping-3.0.dtd and that worked!
I think somehow the dtd was bad temporarily yesterday and we’re caching it somehow.
Hi all, anyone could confirm if this is still an issue?
I checked the following URLs:
