CastFunctionTest failing on most databases

Description

Mssql, testFloatCasting:
com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: Explicit conversion from data type varbinary to float is not allowed.

Mysql, testFloatCasting and testLongCasting:
com.mysql.jdbc.exceptions.jdbc4.MySQLSyntaxErrorException: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'float) as col_0_0_ from MyEntity castfuncti0_' at line 1

Oracle, all tests:
java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected NUMBER got BINARY

Postgresql, all tests:
org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: ERROR: cannot cast type bytea to real
Position: 8

To follow up, "Closed" issues are already included in a release. We NEVER reopen those as it would mess up tracking in regards to the releases. If a "Closed" issue later is found to still have problems, a new issue is created as Gail has done.

Martin, the fix has already been released in 4.2.13, so I created to fix testFloatCasting and testLongCasting.

Steve Ebersole, testFloatCasting and testLongCasting still fail on mysql, shouldn't this be reopened? I can't do it.
