Integrate Infinispan 9

Infinispan 9 second level cache provider has been moved to Infinispan. See comments for documentation and tutorials.

Indeed, Infinispan 9 integration with Hibernate now lives in Infinispan itself. This work was initiated with Infinispan 9.1 but was completed in Infinispan 9.2 which will be released in the next few weeks.

Documentation on using Infinispan 9.x with Hibernate can be found here, and you can find simple tutorials on using it standalone, with a Spring application or in Wildfly here.

Starting in 5.3, support for using Infinispan as a second level cache has actually been moved to the Infinispan project. I believe their initial support is based on Infinispan 9. 5.3.0.CR1 will be released today

Is there any progress integrating Infinispan 9 into Hibernate 5.x?
I´m really interested in using the Infinispan off-heap option for the 2LC.
