Infinispan remote query makes use of them so we will keep them and deprecate the references for now.

I think these references should no longer be needed if we support the idea of field bridge composition and free-form entities.

This is of course debatable. But at any rate, people use reference to internal classes so either we promote some bridges (we can't do all) or we disallow them.
